Meet YOUR Mountain “Guide”

Hi, I’m Erin!

 

Raised in a small town, in the western mountains of Maine, near the Appalachian Trail; you could find me on either a hiking/mountain biking trail or in the winter screaming down a ski trail at my beloved home mountain Sugarloaf, USA.

Playing what felt like every team sport and finding my competitive edge early on I thrived on getting better and improving my skills every chance I had. But, somehow, I always found my way back to nature, my way back to a trailhead, my way up a mountain.

Loving every sport and being out nature, I was a lover of all, but a master of none. I eventually came to realize my strength in life was enduring the type 2 fun a little longer than average person.

Through college, living on a diet of beer, buffalo chicken wraps and mac and cheese, I gained an extra 30lbs. I lost my drive to hike, ski and stay active. In graduate school I found running and although I didn’t love it at first (that’s putting it lightly), it did lead me through a yearlong weight loss journey, and I am happy to report my passion for running has only grown over the years. As my results started to show, others took notice and began asking for help. And then it all clicked.

I knew helping as many people as I could feel better about themselves, feel comfortable in their own skin...that is what I am meant to do. My life is dedicated to helping myself and others be better versions of ourselves through health & fitness. I have been training one-on-one since 2012 and online coaching since 2018. I strive to empower people to view exercise as a medicine, to take their health into their own hands and level up.

I truly love what I do, I specialize in functional training & movement to help others climb their “mountain” and to reach their summits knowing they’re not alone.
